About the Course

The Country Club of Terre Haute offers the finest 18-hole, par 71 golf course in the area. The current golf course was designed by William Diddel, a founding member of the American Society of Golf Course Architects. Diddel is considered one of the great golf course architects of America. The distinctive topography of the front and back nines adds to the challenging characteristics of the course. The natural setting, in conjunction with the contours of the land, enables the golfer to enjoy a course that is fair yet challenging.

Ornamental grasses, wildflowers, colorful beds of annuals and perennials, grazing deer, and an occasional red fox chasing your well placed golf shot, all combine to provide a tranquil setting, adding to your enjoyment of your golf experience.

A unique open-play policy makes the facility readily accessible to the membership. The PGA certified professional staff provides membership with a driving range, practice putting green, bag storage, club repair, lessons in a private or group setting, the latest in technologically advanced golf equipment, along with the most up-to-date golf attire, including such name brands as Polo, Nike, and Under Armour. A fleet of covered golf carts is also available for the members' convenience.
